Umbrella Insurance

Umbrella insurance for a brewery provides additional liability coverage beyond the limits of the brewery's primary insurance policies, such as general liability, commercial auto, or employer’s liability under workers' compensation. This type of policy is designed to protect the brewery from large, unexpected claims that exceed the coverage limits of standard policies, offering a broader financial safety net for catastrophic events.

What We Offer

EXCESS LIABILITY COVERAGE

Provides additional coverage when the limits of the brewery’s primary liability policies (e.g., general liability or commercial auto insurance) are exhausted. For example, if a lawsuit results in a judgment that exceeds the limits of the general liability policy, umbrella insurance would cover the remaining amount, up to the policy limit.

BROADER COVERAGE

May cover certain liability claims not included in the brewery’s primary policies. For instance, if the primary insurance does not cover a particular type of claim (such as slander or libel), the umbrella policy might provide protection.

COVERAGE FOR VARIOUS LIABILITIES

Umbrella insurance typically applies to a range of liability situations, including third-party bodily injury, property damage, product liability, and even employee lawsuits for wrongful acts (if not already covered by D&O insurance).

CATASTROPHIC EVENTS

Protects the brewery from financial ruin in the event of a large-scale claim, such as a serious injury to a customer, a major accident involving a brewery vehicle, or a significant property damage claim that leads to a lawsuit.
